METAMORA, Ill. — Illinois Wesleyan captured its fourth consecutive College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women’s Golf Championship on Wednesday, claiming the 2025 crown with a three-round team total of 901 (301-297-303) at Metamora Fields Golf Club in Metamora, Ill.
 
Sophomore Emily Gastrau of IWU earned medalist honors with a 222 (+9) after rounds of 73, 73 and 76. She is the Titans’ fourth consecutive medalist at the CCIW Championship and 15th IWU medalist overall since 1998.
 
Gastrau was also recognized as a CCIW Elite 26 Award recipient on Wednesday. Modeled after the NCAA's Elite 90 program, the CCIW Elite 26 is presented to the student-athlete who excels academically and athletically at the conference level in each of the CCIW's 26 sponsored sports. Teammate Grace Fagan was also an Elite 26 award recipient on Wednesday.
 
Carthage’s Lexi Manteufel, also a First Team honoree and last season’s CCIW First-Year Student-Athlete of the Year, finished runner-up at 224 (+11).
 
The Titans placed four golfers inside the top five to lock down their 20th CCIW title since 2002. Illinois Wesleyan dominated the All-Conference selections with Gastrau, Julia Henry, Gigi Zera, Nora Cerroni and Fagan each earning All-CCIW First Team honors.
 
North Central finished runner-up with a team score of 944 (315-309-320), led by Madison Place (fifth, 228) and Mallorie Clifton (seventh, 234), both of whom also claimed All-CCIW First Team honors. Augustana took third at 958 (315-316-327), highlighted by Sarah Bond (ninth, 236) and Riley Kinsella (10th, 239), who joined the First Team as well.
 
Carthage (962) and Millikin (992) rounded out the top five. Millikin’s Ava Hackman and Kelis Morris were among the All-CCIW Second Team selections, while Carthage’s Mae Norman and Maddie Midgett earned Second Team recognition.
