NAPERVILLE --- Preseason College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) favorite and defending league champion Illinois Wesleyan is 10th in the preseason D3hoops.com poll. The Titans were also 13th in preseason rankings unveiled by the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA).
The Titans received 307 points in the D3hoops.com rankings and 97 points from the coaches’ ballots. IWU was 28-2 last season and advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament.
NYU was the preseason #1 in both polls after a 31-0 campaign last season.
