NAPERVILLE — North Park junior guard Mike Vuckovic has been named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week following a 26-point performance in the Vikings’ 95-84 conference victory over North Central on Saturday.
Vuckovic led all scorers as North Park erased a double-digit second-half deficit to earn the win and move into first place in the CCIW standings. The effort marked his third 20-point game of the season.
The junior from Hanover Park, Ill. connected on 9-of-14 attempts from the field while setting a career high with five 3-pointers on seven attempts from beyond the arc. Vuckovic logged 37 minutes and is the first player to earn the weekly honor from the league office multiple times in 2025-26.
North Park trailed 55-45 with 16:23 remaining before mounting a second-half rally in which Vuckovic accounted for all five of his three-point field goals. In addition to his scoring output, Vuckovic contributed seven assists, six rebounds and two steals.
