NAPERVILLE – North Central moved up five positions – most by any team in the most recent rankings – to claim the #14 position in the new American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) poll released on Tuesday.
Carthage was #6 and Loras was #13 in Tuesday’s announcement, keeping three teams from the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) among the top 14 in Division III.
NCC’s victory over then-#4 Carthage last Wednesday in Naperville increased the Cardinals’ point total in the poll to 199. North Central jumped over five teams to #14 for its highest national ranking of the 2025 season.
Carthage received 448 points in the poll. Loras had 224 points.
