NAPERVILLE – The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) announced its Men’s Volleyball Student-Athletes of the Week for matches played between Monday, March 31 and Sunday, April 7.
 
Hitter: Corey Mayotte, Loras, Senior (Geneva, Ill.)
Mayotte earned his fifth selection as CCIW Hitter of the Week in 2025 after collecting 25 kills on 41 swings in a pair of league wins last week for the Duhawks. Mayotte made just one error in two wins over Illinois Wesleyan, finishing the week with a .585 hitting percentage. He had three service aces, six digs and two blocks during the week.
 
Setter: Tyler Donovan, North Central, Graduate Student (Lindenhurst, Ill.)
Donovan led NCC to two wins and the #3 seed in this week’s CCIW Championship. He averaged 11.00 assists per set to go along with 3.57 digs, 1.14 kills and 0.43 blocks per set in victories over Augustana and North Park.
 
Defensive: Roman Rothermel, Loras, Sophomore (Menomonee Falls, Wis.)
Rothermel tallied two solo blocks and four blocks assists to lift the Duhawks over Illinois Wesleyan last Wednesday. He added two more unassisted blocks and another assist in Saturday’s victory over the Titans.
