Illinois Wesleyan’s Nazha, Sullivan and Wheaton’s Harris Earn CCIW Weekly Football Honors

Career-High Receiving Day, Strong Defensive Effort and Perfect Kicking Highlight Weekly Honorees

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Illinois Wesleyan University’s Will Nazha and Lach Sullivan, along with Wheaton College’s Zeke Harris, claimed College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin Football Student-Athlete of the Week honors, announced Monday.

Nazha hauled in nine receptions for a career-high 168 yards and two touchdowns in Illinois Wesleyan’s 34-14 win over Carthage College. Harris led the Wheaton defense with 11 tackles and a sack as the Thunder held North Park University to 148 total yards in a 33-6 win. Sullivan was perfect in the kicking game for Illinois Wesleyan, connecting on field goals from 36 and 27 yards while converting all four extra-point attempts.

Conference play continues this weekend with North Central College, Carroll University, and Wheaton remaining undefeated in league play. Fans are able to catch CCIW football action live and free on the CCIW Network throughout the 2026 season.

Offensive

Will Nazha, Illinois Wesleyan (Wide Receiver, Junior, Barrington, IL)

Nazha powered Illinois Wesleyan in a 34-14 win over Carthage College, hauling in a game-high nine receptions for a career-high 168 yards and two touchdowns. The junior found the end zone on catches of 43 and 44 yards, marking his fourth 100-yard receiving game and second multi-touchdown performance of the season. Nazha currently ranks fifth in Division III with 619 receiving yards, sixth with 8.2 receptions per game and ninth with 123.8 receiving yards per game. He also leads the CCIW in all three categories.

Defensive

Zeke Harris, Wheaton (Linebacker, Junior, Clermont, GA)

Harris led the Wheaton defense in a 33-6 win over North Park University, totaling a team-high 11 tackles with six solo stops and five assisted tackles. The All-American linebacker also recorded a sack for a loss of four yards as the Thunder held North Park to 148 total yards of offense, including just 20 rushing yards.

Special Teams

Lach Sullivan, Illinois Wesleyan (Kicker, Sophomore, Rochester, IL)

Sullivan was perfect in the kicking game during Illinois Wesleyan’s 34-14 win over Carthage College, connecting on field goals from 36 and 27 yards while converting all four extra-point attempts. The sophomore also handled seven kickoffs for 414 yards, averaging 59.1 yards per kick.
