NAPERVILLE — The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) announced its 2025-26 Men’s Basketball All-Conference Teams on Monday afternoon.
Illinois Wesleyan’s Noah Cleveland headlined the individual honors, earning both the Fred Young CCIW Most Outstanding Student-Athlete award and the CCIW First-Year Student-Athlete of the Year award. He is the first CCIW men’s basketball player to earn both awards in the same year.
Cleveland led the conference in rebounding (10.5 rpg) and field goal percentage (.610) during league play. He also finished the season ranked third in scoring (19.0 ppg), second in blocked shots (1.71 bpg) and fourth in steals (1.71 spg).
IWU was also named the CCIW Coaching Staff of the Year. Head coach Ron Rose, who previously received Coach of the Year honors five times and as recently as 2024, guided the Titans to a 21-4 overall record and the No. 1 seed in the conference tournament. Under Rose and his staff, Illinois Wesleyan featured the conference’s top rebounder and most efficient shooter while holding the top spot in the league standings throughout the season.
Three student-athletes were unanimous selections to the All-CCIW First Team by the conference’s coaches: Dominic Trelenberg (Elmhurst), Noah Cleveland (Illinois Wesleyan) and Soren Richardson (Wheaton). Richardson concluded the regular season as the conference’s leading scorer at 23.0 points per game, while Trelenberg ranked fifth in scoring (18.2 ppg) and second in three-point field goal percentage (.391).
The 2025-26 All-CCIW teams also included several repeat honorees. Ryan Johnson (Carthage) and Soren Richardson each repeated as First Team selections after earning First Team recognition in 2024-25. Johnson became a three-time All-Conference selection, having also earned Second Team honors as a freshman in 2023-24.
Three student-athletes – Riley Brooks (Carthage), Dominic Trelenberg (Elmhurst), and Lane Thomann (Millikin) – moved up to the First Team after being named to the Second Team in 2024-25.
In addition, Kolden Vanlandingham (North Park) and AJ Johnson (Carthage) each recorded their third career All-Conference selections. Vanlandingham previously earned First Team honors in 2022-23 and 2023-24, while AJ Johnson was a First Team selection in 2024-25 and a Second Team honoree in 2022-23.
