CCIW Honors Fall 2025 Dave Wrath, Jack Swartz Academic All-Conference Recipients

NAPERVILLE — The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) announced the Fall 2025 recipients of its Dave Wrath and Jack Swartz Academic All-Conference awards on Monday morning.

The Fall 2025 Dave Wrath Academic All-Conference honorees are listed at this link.

The Dave Wrath Academic All-Conference distinction recognizes student-athletes who have achieved an overall grade-point average of 3.30 or higher and have completed at least one year in residency at a collegiate institution.

The award is named in honor of former Augustana College athletics administrator Dave Wrath. Wrath retired in June 2021 as Augustana’s Associate Director of Athletics for Media and Alumni Relations after 40 years of service to the Vikings. In addition to his responsibilities at Augustana, he served as the CCIW Sports Information Director from 1996-2005 and played an instrumental role in establishing the CCIW Academic All-Conference Program in 2005.

In addition to the Dave Wrath honorees, the CCIW also announced all recipients of the Jack Swartz Academic All-Conference award. Each CCIW member institution selects two student-athletes (one men’s athlete and one women’s athlete) from each of the conference’s three sport seasons (fall, winter, spring) for Jack Swartz Academic All-Conference recognition.

To be eligible for the Jack Swartz Academic All-Conference award, a student-athlete must hold an overall grade-point average of 3.50 or higher and have completed at least one year in residency at their respective institution.

The Jack Swartz Academic All-Conference award is named after the former Wheaton College Director of Athletics and CCIW Commissioner. Swartz served as Wheaton’s Director of Athletics from 1975-1982 and as CCIW Commissioner from 1987 until his passing on July 11, 1997.
