Millikin to Host NCAA Baseball Regional

DECATUR, Ill. — The Millikin University baseball team was selected as a regional host for the 2026 NCAA Division III Baseball Tournament May 15-17 at the Workman Family Baseball Field in Decatur, Illinois.
               
Millikin is 35-8 this season winners of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) regular season and tournament titles. The Big Blue will face the University of Wisconsin La Crosse (32-12) in its opening game. The Eagles are an at-large team from the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. The game will be played on Friday, May 15 at 2:30 p.m.
 
The opening game in the regional at 11 a.m. Friday will feature Baldwin Wallace (30-9) the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament Champions facing Warburg College (26-15) winners of the American Rivers Conference Tournament.
 
Three games will be played on Saturday, May 16 with games at 11 a.m., 2:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. The Championship game is set for Sunday, May 17 at 11 a.m. with an at necessary game to follow if needed.

The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) was founded in 1946 and currently services nine member institutions including Augustana College (Rock Island, Ill.), Carroll University (Waukesha, Wis.), Carthage College (Kenosha, Wis.), Elmhurst University (Elmhurst, Ill.), Illinois Wesleyan University (Bloomington, Ill.), Millikin University (Decatur, Ill.), North Central College (Naperville, Ill.), North Park University (Chicago, Ill.) and Wheaton College (Wheaton, Ill.).
