NAPERVILLE, Ill. - Four College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) men's lacrosse student-athletes received 2026 Division III All-America honors from the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA), announced last Wednesday.
Elmhurst senior attacker Eli Spence headlined the CCIW honorees with a Second Team selection, while three additional Bluejays earned honorable mention recognition. Senior defenseman Matt Koshiol, junior long stick midfielder Gabe Henry and senior faceoff specialist Tony Vazquez were also recognized among the nation's top Division III performers.
The honors add to a season of firsts for Elmhurst, which captured its first outright CCIW regular-season championship, won its first CCIW Tournament title, made its first NCAA Tournament appearance and set a program record with 15 victories.
Spence, a senior from Snoqualmie, Wash., was named to the USILA All-America Second Team at attack. He started all 19 games for the Bluejays and led Elmhurst with 122 points on 77 goals and 45 assists, while also adding 41 ground balls and 17 caused turnovers. Spence was previously named the CCIW Offensive Student-Athlete of the Year for the third consecutive season, becoming the league's first three-time offensive winner, and was an All-CCIW First Team selection.
Koshiol, a senior defenseman from Monticello, Minn., earned honorable mention All-America recognition. He started 14 games for Elmhurst and finished the season with 29 ground balls and 21 caused turnovers. Koshiol also earned All-CCIW First Team honors for the third consecutive season.
Henry, a junior from Snoqualmie, Wash., was recognized by USILA as an honorable mention long stick midfielder. He appeared in 17 games with 16 starts and totaled 65 ground balls, 46 caused turnovers, two goals and one assist. Henry was also named to the All-CCIW First Team after helping anchor the league's top defensive unit.
Vazquez, a senior from Cottage Grove, Minn., earned honorable mention All-America honors as a faceoff specialist. Vazquez won 288 of his 412 faceoffs for a .699 faceoff percentage and collected a team-high 160 ground balls. He also contributed one goal and nine assists for 10 points. Vazquez was previously named the CCIW Defensive Student-Athlete of the Year for the second consecutive season and earned All-CCIW First Team recognition.
Elmhurst finished the 2026 season with a 15-4 overall record and a perfect 5-0 mark in CCIW play. The Bluejays led the CCIW with nine all-conference selections, including seven First Team honorees.
The USILA All-America teams are selected from student-athletes nominated by their coaches and voted on by the USILA All-America Committee.
