NAPERVILLE, Ill. - The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin announced its Spring 2026 Dave Wrath Academic All-Conference recipients and Jack Swartz Academic All-Conference Award winners on Tuesday, June 30, celebrating another standout season of academic achievement across the conference.
A total of 932 student-athletes earned Spring 2026 Dave Wrath Academic All-Conference recognition, representing the depth of academic excellence across the CCIW’s spring sports. Honorees came from baseball, men’s golf, men’s and women’s lacrosse, men’s volleyball, softball, men’s tennis, and men’s and women’s outdoor track & field.

The Dave Wrath Academic All-Conference award is named for the former Augustana and CCIW Sports Information Director, who helped establish the conference’s academic recognition programs. To be eligible, student-athletes must carry a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.30 and have completed two full-time terms.
“Academic achievement has always been central to the CCIW student-athlete experience,” CCIW Executive Director Lexie Vernon said. “The students recognized on this list have shown the discipline, consistency and commitment required to succeed in demanding academic programs while also competing at a high level for their teams and institutions.”
The spring list reflects achievement across every CCIW campus. Carthage led all institutions with 151 student-athletes named to the Spring 2026 Dave Wrath Academic All-Conference list. Illinois Wesleyan followed with 134 selections, while Augustana totaled 122 and North Central added 118.
Women’s outdoor track & field produced the highest number of spring honorees with 185 selections across the conference. Men’s outdoor track & field followed with 172 recipients, while baseball totaled 169 selections.
The CCIW also announced its Spring 2026 Jack Swartz Academic All-Conference Award winners. Each CCIW institution selects one male and one female student-athlete from each season who have achieved success in athletics and academics. Named for former Wheaton athletics director and CCIW commissioner Jack Swartz, the award requires a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50.
