How has your military training helped shape your athletics career?
My time in the military helped me as an athlete to be disciplined both on and off the field.

What's the biggest benefit you take away from your training?
The biggest benefit that I take away from being in the service is getting the experience to deploy. I got to experience how difficult it was to be at a hostile environment. Getting to learn a new language (Arabic) and communicating with people from outside of the wire. I also got the chance to ride a camel.

What ultimately drew you to compete at North Park and what do you enjoy most about your institution?
The main reason why I came to North Park was, taking advantage of the opportunity that I have to further my education and to play the sport that I love which is Football and Volleyball. I enjoy being at North Park because I got to meet a lot of new friends and a friendly community.
