NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Augustana's Bobby Jarosz, North Park's Gary Anish and North Central's Magnus Meyer were selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Football Players of the Week on Monday.

Jarosz, a senior running back from Mount Prospect, Illinois and Prospect High School, rushed for a career-high 184 yards on 22 carries and two rushing touchdowns during the Vikings' 34-6 win over Carroll on Saturday. He accounted for nearly half of the Vikings' 377 rushing yards on the day as Augustana had 529 yards of total offense against the Pioneers. Jarosz is just 98 yards shy of becoming the Vikings' first 1,000-yard rusher since Mike Guzman in 2006.

Anish, a senior linebacker from Chicago and Depaul College Prep, posted a career-high two fumble recoveries in a 38-14 win over Elmhurst on Saturday. He also finished with nine tackles (five solo), 1.5 tackles-for-loss, a half sack, an interception and a forced fumble. Anish has accumulated 44 tackles in just five games played this season.

Meyer, a freshman kicker from Nesbru, Norway, was 2-of-2 on field goals and 9-of-9 on PATs during the Cardinals' 69-14 win over Illinois Wesleyan on Saturday. He tied for the third-highest single-game total for points scored by kicking in North Central history. His 35-yard field goal in the fourth quarter was a season long, and he also made a tackle in kickoff coverage and successfully executed an on-side kick in the first quarter.
