NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Carthage's Andy Szun and North Central's Dylan Cost were selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week on Tuesday.

Szun, a senior attacker from Winnipeg, Manitoba and St. Paul's High School (Finance & Management major), established new conference records in career points (317) and career goals (219) for the 2-1 Red Men last week. He tallied five goals and three assists in a 25-5 win over Carroll on April 23, five goals and two assists in a 17-13 loss at Elmhurst on April 24, and two goals in a 13-12 overtime win against North Central on April 28.  

Cost, a junior goalie from Barrington, Illinois and Cary Grove High School (Psychology/Sociology major), totaled 30 saves and 12 ground balls for the 1-1 Cardinals last week. He tallied 15 saves and eight ground balls in a 6-5 win at Dubuque on April 28, followed by 15 saves and eight ground balls in a 13-12 overtime loss at Carthage on April 28 to close out the 2019 season.
