NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) is proud to participate in the NCAA's Diversity and Inclusion Social Media Campaign held October 27-29.

CCIW Assistant Executive Director Mike Krizman recently sat down with one member of each conference institution to discuss a variety of topics surrounding diversity and inclusion. Student-athletes, coaches and administrators shared their experiences and discussed the action steps being taken on their campuses.

Three videos will be posted each day with a focus on that particular day's theme. For Day 1, Krizman conducted interviews around the topic "My Story Matters": exploring student-athletes' identities, perspectives and experiences.

Jarius Ingram Millikin University Men's Basketball Student-Athlete Millikin men's basketball student-athlete Jarius Ingram shares some of his childhood experiences, as well as his work with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and how all of these life experiences have shaped his view on creating equality and making sure everyone has a voice. [Watch Video]
Jayla Johnson North Park University Women's Basketball Student-Athlete North Park women's basketball student-athlete Jayla Johnson discusses her experiences as a college student in a diverse city like Chicago and how that has had a positive impact on herself, her peers and the North Park campus as a whole.
