NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- North Park's Peder Olsen and North Central's Sid Marquardt were selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men's Soccer Student-Athletes of the Week on Tuesday. 

Olsen, a senior midfielder from Larvik, Norway, became the first North Park men's soccer student-athlete to total three hat tricks in a career after he scored three goals in a 4-0 win over 16th-ranked Carthage on September 29. Olsen also finished with a goal and two assists in an 8-0 victory at Elmhurst on October 2. He holds North Park records in assists (30) and goals (48).  

Marquardt, a sophomore goalkeeper from Hartland, Wisconsin and Arrowhead High School, was in goal for a pair of shutouts in CCIW competition last week. He played all 90 minutes and made three saves in a 2-0 win over Millikin on September 29. He then recorded a 1-0 shutout of 16th-ranked Carthage on October 2 as he made one save and tallied his ninth shutout of the season.
