NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) announced on Tuesday the members of the 2021 All-Conference Football Team.
This year's all-conference team featured a total of 60 players including North Central's Sharmore Clarke and Wheaton's Dallas McRae, who each repeated as yearly award winners.
North Central senior wide receiver
Andrew Kamienski was named the Art Keller Offensive Player of the Year, marking the fifth-consecutive year a Cardinal has won the award and seventh time in the past eight seasons. The dynamic playmaker is the first wide receiver to win the award since North Central's Peter Sorenson in 2014. Kamienski finished second in the CCIW in both receptions (59) and receiving yards (1,015) and tied for the CCIW lead with 10 receiving touchdowns. Kamienski finishes his career as the CCIW's all-time leader in receptions (227) and receiving yards (3,303) in conference play.
Wheaton senior defensive lineman
Dallas McRae was named the Don Larson Defensive Player of the Year for the second-consecutive season, marking the sixth time in seven seasons that a Thunder student-athlete claimed the award. McRae is just the sixth player in conference history to win the award multiple times and the first since Wheaton's Adam Dansdill in 2014 and 2015. McRae finished with nine sacks, 18 tackles for loss, and 42 total tackles. The reigning D3football.com National Defensive Player of the Year, McRae anchored a Thunder defense that allowed a conference-best 10.4 points per game and led the CCIW with 43 team sacks.
North Central senior offensive lineman
Sharmore Clarke earned CCIW Offensive Lineman of the Year honors for the third-straight season as the Cardinal offense led the conference with 5,895 yards including 3,116 rushing yards. Clarke is a four-time all-conference player including three-straight First Team honors.
North Central's Jeff Thorne won his second Bob Reade Coach of the Year award after the Cardinals claimed their 15th CCIW title in program history and earned the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Football Championship.
