Carroll's Hardin, Karls named CCIW Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Carroll's Katrina Hardin and Courtenay Karls were selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women's Lacrosse Players of the Week on Monday.

Hardin, a sophomore attacker from Dousman, Wisconsin and Kettle Moraine High School, helped lead the Pioneers to a 13-11 win over Illinois Wesleyan in the team's conference opener on Saturday. She led with six goals on nine shots, eight of which were on goal. It was the first victory over the Titans in program history. 

Karls, a senior midfielder from Waukesha, Wisconsin and Waukesha West High School, did her part in helping lead the Pioneers against Illinois Wesleyan on Saturday. On top of her three goals and one assist, Karls totaled three caused turnovers and five ground balls in the win.
