NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Millikin's Bailee Blecker and North Central's Emma Goldman were selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women's Soccer Student-Athletes of the Week on Tuesday. 

Blecker, a sophomore forward from Loves Park, Illinois and Harlem High School, totaled three goals and one assist for the 1-1-0 Big Blue last week. She scored her team's only goal in a 2-1 loss at Webster on September 8, followed by two goals and one assist in a 3-1 victory over Greenville at home on September 11. 

Goldman, a sophomore defender from Sycamore, Illinois and Sycamore High School, helped anchor the Cardinals' defense as the team went 2-0-1 last week. North Central gave up just five shots on goal during a 2-2 tie against Illinois Institute of Technology on September 8, seven shots (four on goal) in a 2-1 win over Aurora on September 11, and five shots (five on goal) in a 4-0 shutout of Benedictine on September 12. Goldman finished with one of her team's four goals against the Eagles.
