NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- North Central's Aidan Westerberg and Elmhurst's Noah Reed were selected as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men's Soccer Student-Athletes of the Week on Tuesday.

Westerberg, a sophomore midfielder from Belvidere, Illinois and Belvidere North High School, tallied two goals and two assists as the Cardinals went 3-0-0 last week. He finished with one goal and one assist in a 4-1 win over Concordia-Wisconsin on September 8, followed by another goal and an assist in a 2-0 shutout of Wartburg on September 12, helping North Central move to 5-0-0 on the season.

Reed, a junior goalkeeper from Kenosha, Wisconsin and Indian Trail High School, made nine saves in goal while helping the Bluejays finish 2-0-1 last week. He made four saves in 110 minutes of play during a 0-0 draw against Lake Forest on September 8. Reed totaled three saves in 90 minutes of a 1-0 shutout at Geneva on September 10, followed by two saves in a 4-1 win at Chatham on September 12.
