NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- North Central sophomore
Jessica Ramirez was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Bowling Student-Athlete of the Week for the second time this season on Wednesday.
A native of Lockport, Illinois and Lockport Township High School, Ramirez set a new program record with a 263 at the Peacock Classic, held January 21-23 in Waterloo, Iowa. She earned All-Tournament honors, finishing third overall with a six-game series total of 1,190; an average of 198.33. Ramirez led North Central to its second best all-time traditional tournament score in program history (4,832).
