Mantia, Reddeman Share CCIW Weekly Honor Again

NAPERVILLE, Ill. – For the second time in three weeks, Wheaton junior Alyssa Mantia and Carroll fifth-year runner Elizabeth Reddeman have shared the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women’s Cross Country Student-Athlete of the Week award.
 
Mantia, a junior from West Chicago, Ill., was the 10th-place individual at the 28th Annual Tori Neubauer Invitational Saturday morning at Maple Grove Venues, LLC in West Sales, Wis. Her time of 22:39.9 was the top WC performance and lifted the Thunder to a fifth-place team finish out of 30 competing teams.
 
Reddeman was the winner at the 10-team Wisconsin Private College Championships at Greenfield Park on Saturday in West Allis, Wis. The Poynette, Wis. native finished the 6K course in 22:58.2 to pace the Pioneers in their second-place team finish behind Ripon.
