PEWAUKEE, Wis. – The 2022 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women’s Golf Championship tees off Thursday at 10 a.m. at Naga-Waukee War Memorial Golf Course in Pewaukee, Wis. The event is scheduled for three rounds and 54 holes spread across Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Illinois Wesleyan, last season’s CCIW Championship runner up and currently ranked 15th nationally in the Division III Mizuno Women's Golf Coaches Association Coaches Poll, is the pre-championship favorite according to a CCIW coaches poll conducted Tuesday. The Titans received seven first-place votes. Augustana was picked second and earned a single first-place vote.
Millikin was third, followed by Elmhurst in fourth and Carthage in fifth. The Firebirds, who won the event last season, received a single first-place vote. North Central was picked sixth, followed by Wheaton, Carroll and North Park.

The Titans own five of the top 10 team rounds from the league this fall, including a league-low 290 at the Wartburg Invite on Sept. 11. There have been 14 individual rounds of 74 or better by a CCIW student-athlete this season, including a CCIW-best 69 from Illinois Wesleyan’s Emma Thorman at the Wartburg Invite on Sept. 11.
Tee times and live results will be posted via Golfstat live results link. The winner of this weekend's championship will be designated as the "conference champion" and will earn the conference's automatic bid to the 2022 NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championship in May.
