NAPERVILLE, Ill. – The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) announced its final Women’s Soccer Student-Athlete of the Week awards of the 2022 season on Tuesday afternoon. Wheaton’s Emily Setran is the Offensive recipient, while North Central’s Ellie Lochbaum is the Defensive winner.
 
Setran, a freshman midfielder from Wheaton, Ill., scored her first two collegiate goals in the second half of last Wednesday’s 4-1 win at Millikin. She played 68 minutes in a starting assignment, hit the back of the net on both of her shot attempts and helped lift the Thunder into the quarterfinal round of the CCIW Tournament.
 
Lochbaum, who was named CCIW Defensive Student-Athlete of the Year last week and also earned Student-Athlete of the Week honors previously on Sept. 6 of this season, helped limit Augustana to just four shot attempts in last Wednesday’s 1-1 draw in Rock Island. She also assisted on Elle Sutter’s match-tying strike in the 87th minute.
