CCIW announces 2022 All-Conference Women's Lacrosse Team

2022 CCIW All-Conference Team

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) announced today the 24 members of the 2022 All-Conference Women's Lacrosse Team.

Additionally, the conference announced its season-ending award recipients, and the seven RESPECT Award winners.

University of Chicago senior attacker Lally Johnson became the Maroons' third-straight CCIW Offensive Student-Athlete of the Year recipient, joining Karina Schulze (2019) and Ali Sheehy (2021). 

Carroll senior midfielder Clara Jelacic became the Pioneers' first-ever CCIW Defensive Student-Athlete of the Year recipient after leading the conference-only statistics in caused turnovers (36) and tied for second in draw controls (41). 

Chicago freshman goalie Rachel Keefe was named the CCIW First-Year Student-Athlete of the Year after garnering First Team honors. Keefe is Chicago's third-straight First-Year Student-Athlete of the Year recipient, joining Schulze (2019) and Lulu Hardy (2021).

Kate Robinson was named the 2022 CCIW Coach of the Year after leading Chicago to its second-straight regular season title in 2022. The Maroons finished 6-0 in conference play and will host a CCIW Tournament semifinal contest on Wednesday against Illinois Wesleyan.

RESPECT Award: At the conclusion of every sports season, each varsity program will recognize one student-athlete as their RESPECT Award honoree. RESPECT Award recipients have distinguished themselves as an integral member of the team, their institution and community by upholding the values of Responsibility, Enthusiasm, Service, Pride, Excellence, Collaboration and Trust. The RESPECT Award recognizes the intangible traits a student-athlete possesses that exemplify great character and encourages inclusiveness and a positive culture.
