Carroll, Carthage Combine for Six IWLCA All-Region Selections

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. — Six College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) women’s lacrosse student-athletes were named to the 2026 Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division III All-Region teams, the organization announced on Friday, May 15.
 
Carroll graduate defender Grace Tumilty earned First Team honors in the Great Lakes Region, while five others were named to the Second Team. The list includes Carroll junior attacker Elizabeth Wang, along with four selections from Carthage: junior attacker Auggie Claridge, sophomore goalkeeper Xochitl Delvale-Vera, junior defender Kaitlyn Goff and senior midfielder Piper LeFevre.
 
The IWLCA recognized 256 student-athletes across Division III. All honorees are eligible for selection to the IWLCA All-American teams, which are scheduled to be announced May 22.
 
Tumilty, the CCIW Co-Defensive Student-Athlete of the Year, helped lead a Carroll defense that limited opponents to 6.3 goals per game. She totaled a team-high 83 ground balls and 68 caused turnovers during the Pioneers’ 2026 campaign.
 
Wang, the CCIW Offensive Student-Athlete of the Year, added Second Team recognition after finishing with 56 goals and 26 assists for 82 points. Carroll finished the season 14-2 and secured its second consecutive CCIW regular-season championship.
 
Carthage placed four student-athletes on the Second Team after winning the CCIW Tournament Championship and earning the program’s first NCAA Tournament victory.
 
Claridge led the Firebirds’ group of honorees after recording 63 goals and 36 assists. She also contributed 35 ground balls and 28 caused turnovers.
 
Delvale-Vera was recognized after a 16-4 season in goal. She made 99 saves, posted a .471 save percentage and recorded three shutouts.
 
Goff added All-Region honors following a season in which she totaled 74 ground balls, 44 caused turnovers and 117 draw controls en route to claiming CCIW Co-Defensive Student-Athlete of the Year honors. She also reached 100 career ground balls during the year.
 
LeFevre closed her senior season with 42 goals and 21 assists, while adding 25 ground balls and 19 caused turnovers for the Firebirds.
