NAPERVILLE, Ill. – North Central sophomore Natalie Bassett is the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women’s Tennis Student-Athlete of the Week, according to a Wednesday announcement from the league office. Bassett went 5-0 on the court for the Cardinals last week.
The Bluffton, S.C. native earned a 6-0, 6-2 No. 3 singles victory in NCC’s dual win over Carthage, then followed with another straight sets win, 6-1, 6-0, over North Park.
Bassett teamed with Kaeli Smashey for #1 doubles wins over Carthage and North Park also paired with Mikayla Edquiban for a doubles triumph versus Illinois Wesleyan.
