NAPERVILLE – North Central’s Drew Guimond and Carroll’s Austin Sanderfoot have been named College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Cross Country Co-Student-Athletes of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.
Guimond, a junior from Bloomington, Ill., was the third finisher for NCC at the Augustana Interregional Invite last Saturday, running the 8K course in 24:52 for 13th place. Guimond is now a two-time CCIW Student-Athlete of the Week in his career after previously receiving the honor on Oct. 18, 2022.
Sanderfoot ran to a third-place finish at the Gene Davis Invite in Appleton, Wis. on Saturday, Oct. 7 with a time of 25:16. The effort marked a lifetime personal best for the Waukesha, Wis. native, crushing his previous best of 26:44.
