Eilmes, a freshman from Colorado Springs, helped Wheaton a dual win over Carthage last Saturday with two individual victories. His in-season best of 10:00.32 won the 1000 freestyle by nearly 30 seconds, and is this season’s top CCIW time by 20 seconds. The effort from Eilmes in the 500 freestyle in 4:54.68 won the event by five seconds and is also a league-best time in 2022-23.

Eilmes was one of only two competitors to win multiple events in the dual against Carthage.
