NAPERVILLE – Dalton Hubbs of Transylvania and Jake Paris of North Central have been selected as College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Lacrosse Student-Athletes of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.
 
Hubbs is the offensive recipient after scoring seven goals and adding two assists in the Pioneers’ 21-5 triumph over Augustana on Sunday. He reached the 100-goal plateau during Transy’s two-game CCIW homestand, which included a Saturday matchup with Illinois Wesleyan. The Louisville, Ky. native totaled 10 goals and four assists on 16 shots over the two-game weekend.
 
The defensive winner is Paris, who helped the Cardinals to a pair of league wins last week. The junior from Fishers, Ind. compiled eight ground balls and a forced turnover, helping NCC win at Carroll 25-2 last Wednesday and take down Carthage, 14-8, on Saturday in Naperville. Paris also helped NCC go 14-for-23 in face-off opportunities in the victory over Carthage.
