NAPERVILLE – BJ Sorg, a sophomore at North Central, was selected College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Student-Athlete of the Week in men’s cross country on Tuesday afternoon. The announcement marks Sorg’s second weekly award from the league in 2024.
Sorg ran the 8K course at the Augustana Interregional Invite last Saturday in 24:21.3, his second-fastest performance of the fall. He placed first among NCC runners and eighth in the race overall at Saukie Golf Course, helping the Cardinals to a second-place team finish.
