NAPERVILLE – Macy Ludwig of Illinois Wesleyan has repeated as the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Student-Athlete of the Week in women’s golf after a second-place showing at the UWW Spring Invite last Saturday in Janesville, Wis.
Ludwig shot 75 on Friday and 80 on Saturday in swirling winds at the tournament hosted by Wisconsin-Whitewater at Janesville Riverside Golf Course.
The junior from Effingham, Ill. helped lead IWU to its third straight team title and fourth tournament win of the season as the Titans bested the field by 16 strokes. Ludwig's opening-round 75 tied for the lowest round among the 85-player field during the tournament.
