NAPERVILLE – North Central’s Jack Oberli (hitter) and Augustana’s Riley Fuller (pitcher) were selected College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Baseball Student-Athletes of the Week by the league office on Monday afternoon.
 
Hitter: Jack Oberli, North Central
The 5-foot-7 Lombard, Ill. native had 10 hits in 17 at-bats last week, adding four doubles and a home run as part of a 1.000 slugging percentage across four CCIW starts.
 
All four of his appearances were multi-hit games, including back-to-back three-hit performances in Saturday’s doubleheader at Elmhurst. He homered in game one of the twin bill. Oberli also had eight RBI during the week – two in each game.
 
Pitcher: Riley Fuller, Augustana
Fuller pitched 9.0 scoreless innings last week, earning a save and a win in appearances against Monmouth last Tuesday and versus Carthage on Saturday.
 
In Tuesday’s non-league win over Monmouth, the freshman pitched 4.0 innings of relief, striking out seven and allowing only three hits to pick up the save. Four days later in CCIW action, Fuller delivered 5.0 more innings out of the bullpen, this time earning his first collegiate win with two strikeouts and only three hits allowed.
