NAPERVILLE – The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) chose Augustana’s Claudia Buchholz and Millikin’s Charly Warlow as the final Student-Athletes of the Week of the 2024 softball season, according to a Monday afternoon announcement from the league office.
 
Hitter: Claudia Buchholz, Augustana
Buchholz gave the Vikings eight hits last week, including two doubles, two home runs and four runs scored. The senior from Waukesha, Wis. also drove in nine runs across five starts and homered in CCIW games against Illinois Wesleyan and Elmhurst.
 
Pitcher: Charly Warlow, Millikin
Warlow tossed a no-hitter on Saturday against North Park, lifting the Big Blue to a 9-1 win in Decatur. The Le Roy, Ill. native struck out five, allowing only an RBI groundout after an error in the first inning. Warlow is now a two-time CCIW Student-Athlete of the Week in 2024.
