NAPERVILLE – The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) named Lorrie Decker of Elmhurst the league’s Student-Athlete of the Week in women’s bowling on Wednesday morning.
The senior from Van Wert, Ohio averaged 218 with a high of 248 to be selected MVP of the inaugural DIII Invite in Lansing, Mich. last Friday and Saturday. Decker finished the event with a strike percentage of 57, earning first place by 99 pins.
Decker’s efforts helped the Bluejays finish second as a team. She is now a five-time CCIW Student-Athlete of the Week in her EU career.
