NAPERVILLE --- North Central swept the latest College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women’s Soccer Student-Athlete of the Week awards, as Jordan Lange was recognized for her offensive performance and Kassandra Salviola earned defensive honors.
 
Offensive: Jordan Lange, North Central
Lange, a junior from Aurora, Ill., scored two goals in the Cardinals’ 3-0 shutout over North Park on Saturday to clinch a share of the CCIW regular-season title. She scored on a penalty kick in the first half and also added the only goal in the second half to solidify the win. 
 
She had a .875 shots on goal percentage over two conference games this week, as North Central also beat Illinois Wesleyan 2-1 last Wednesday.
 
Defensive: Kassandra Salviola, North Central
Salviola helped the Cardinals to a 2-0 conference week as she anchored an NCC defense that limited its opponents to just one goal. 
 
The defender from Naperville scored a header goal off a corner kick entry in North Central’s 2-1 win over IWU. She also played a crucial role in the Cardinals’ 3-0 shutout over North Park, North Central’s seventh shutout of the season.
