NAPERVILLE — Illinois Wesleyan returned to its all-time highest national ranking in program history on Tuesday, appearing at #7 in the new Division III poll released by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA).
IWU, which was also seventh nationally two weeks ago, is 14-1 overall and 3-0 in the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW). The Titans returned to the win column last Wednesday, earning a road sweep of North Park in Chicago.
The top four teams, led by unbeaten and top-ranked La Verne (14-0), were unchanged in the poll. Juniata moved up one spot to round out the top five.
