NAPERVILLE — Elmhurst senior Anna Kleszynski was selected College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Student-Athlete of the Week in women’s basketball on Monday afternoon. Kleszynski averaged 23.5 points and 8.5 rebounds over two games at the McWilliams Classic in St. Louis.
The Saint John, Ind. native opened the weekend with 21 points and seven rebounds in Elmhurst’s 72–51 win over Rose-Hulman last Friday. She followed with 26 points and 10 boards the next day against host WashU, finishing 11-for-22 from the field and 3-for-7 from three-point range in an 83–70 setback.
For the weekend, Kleszynski shot 54 percent (20-for-37) from the floor and added three steals while committing just two turnovers.
