NAPERVILLE – Illinois Wesleyan remained the lone College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) men’s basketball squad in the new D3hoops.com national rankings released on Monday. The Titans were 13th in the weekly poll.
IWU is 18-4 this season and had 321 points in the new rankings.
Carthage is 16-5 overall and has won eight of its last nine, including an 85-74 league win over IWU last Saturday in Kenosha. The Firebirds received 35 points in Monday’s poll, the highest total among unranked teams and just five points outside the top 25.
