NAPERVILLE — The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) was represented by student-athletes from all nine institutions on the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Men’s Basketball Team.
 
The award recognizes student-athletes for combined achievement on the court and in the classroom. To be eligible, nominees must be at least sophomores academically, hold a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher, and meet participation requirements based on games played or starts.
 
Illinois Wesleyan recorded the conference’s highest total with four honorees. Karlo Colak, Mason Funk, Casen Lawrence and Jackson Niego represented a Titans squad that claimed both the CCIW regular-season and tournament championships and advanced to the NCAA Division III Elite Eight. Funk also moved on as a finalist for CSC Academic All-America® consideration.
 
Repeat selections were also a notable part of the conference’s group. Sean Molloy became North Central’s three-time Academic All-District® recipient, while Jacob Naber of Carroll, AJ Williams of Carthage, Aidyn Boone of Elmhurst and Lane Thomann of Millikin each earned the honor again. Molloy was joined on the list by teammate Alejandro Diaz.
 
Wheaton’s Soren Richardson joined Funk as a finalist for the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
 
Academic All-District® honorees advance to the Academic All-America® ballot, with the men’s basketball teams scheduled to be announced on April 14.
