NAPERVILLE – Marian junior Elana Rimer earned College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women’s Bowling Student-Athlete of the Week honors on Wednesday morning.
The Woodville, Wis. native totaled an even 1,000 in a five-game set for a 200.0 average at the Flyer Classic hosted by Lewis in Lockport, Ill. last weekend. Rimer placed 39th out of 138 bowlers. She finished the event with an 89.5 fill percentage and a strike percentage of 48.
Wednesday's announcement marks Rimer's second CCIW Student-Athlete of the Week award this season.
