CCIW Sending 16 to NCAA Men's Wrestling Championships

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Sixteen student-athletes representing eight different College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) men’s wrestling programs will participate in the NCAA Division III Men’s Wrestling Championships, scheduled to begin Friday at Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence, R.I.
 
CCIW champion North Central leads the way with six qualifiers. Millikin was next with three, followed by Augustana with two.
 
Championship quarterfinals, consolation second-round wrestle-backs and consolation third-round matches are scheduled for Friday. All other rounds are scheduled for Saturday, including the championship finals at 7 p.m. ET.
 
For 2025, the Division III Championships Committee has allocated 210 positions for the championships. Each qualifying tournament qualified its champion, second-place finisher and third-place finisher from each weight class.
 
Among the regional champions from the CCIW were Zaren Anderson (157) of Carthage, Dejon Glaster (174) of Millikin and North Central’s Christian Guzman (125) and Bradley Rosen (141).
