ROCHESTER, N.Y. – North Park’s Jereme Ombogo will run in two events and Millikin’s Kyle Hensley will seek to defend his national title in the pole vault when 14 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) student-athletes descend on Golisano Training Center in Rochester, N.Y. for the NCAA Division III Men’s Indoor Track & Field Championship this Friday and Saturday.
The league will see participants in nine different events, including multiple entries in the 5,000 meter run, high jump, triple jump and weight throw. Ombogo will run in both the 60 meters and 200 meters. Hensley is the lone CCIW representative in the pole vault after winning the event as a freshman a year ago.
CCIW champion North Central has five student-athletes that qualified, most in the league.
Men’s events will start at 9 a.m. CT both days.
