NAPERVILLE — The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) announced the 2025 All-CCIW Teams in women’s lacrosse on Tuesday afternoon.
 
Regular-season champion Carroll was represented by eight All-CCIW selections, including CCIW Offensive Student-Athlete of the Year Elizabeth Wang and CCIW First-Year Student-Athlete of the Year Abby Tubbs. Eleventh-year CU head coach Michael Hodge was voted CCIW Coach of the Year for the second time.
 
Illinois Wesleyan senior Mia Fiandaca was tabbed CCIW Defensive Student-Athlete of the Year and was one of five Titans to earn All-CCIW status.
 
Wang, a sophomore from Wildomar, Calif., is Carroll’s first CCIW Offensive Student-Athlete of the Year in league history. She finished league play as the CCIW leader in goals per game (4.20) and points per game (5.60), tallying 21 goals and seven assists in her five CCIW starts. 
 
Fiandaca is now a two-time All-CCIW First Team honoree and joins Mariah Smith (2018) and Janaye Godfrey (2021) as Titans to be named CCIW Defensive Student-Athlete of the Year. The St. Charles, Ill. native gave IWU a league-best 4.60 caused turnovers per game against CCIW competition and also averaged 3.20 ground balls and 4.80 draw controls per game.
 
Tubbs was the lone freshman selected for the All-CCIW First Team to become CU’s second CCIW First-Year Student-Athlete of the Year honoree. She was the CCIW leader with 6.60 draw controls on average and landed third on the league’s scoring leaderboard with 18 goals and four assists for 4.40 points per game.
 
Hodge led the Pios to their second league championship, as well as their first outright title and after sweeping the CCIW schedule with a 5-0 record. The Pioneers had the league’s best offense with 15.6 goals and 7.4 assists per game. CU also boasted the top defense in the CCIW, yielding only 17 goals in five contests. He is the third coach in league history to receive CCIW Coach of the Year honors multiple times.
