NAPERVILLE — Wheaton seniors Olivia Wiebe and Isabelle Fitzpatrick claimed this week’s CCIW Women’s Swimming & Diving Student-Athlete of the Week honors following standout efforts at the Thunder Invitational, announced Tuesday afternoon. 
 
Wiebe delivered a productive weekend across multiple events in the pool, while Fitzpatrick posted a season-best performance on the boards as the Thunder celebrated Senior Day with a team victory.
 
Swimming: Olivia Wiebe, Wheaton
Wiebe turned in a strong multi-event performance at the Thunder Invitational last Friday and Saturday, highlighted by a personal-best swim in the 1,000-yard freestyle. Competing Friday, Wiebe posted a time of 10:48.94, which currently leads the CCIW by 11 seconds. She also recorded a personal-best split in the 500 freestyle (5:18.0) during the race.
 
Wiebe followed with another productive session on Saturday, winning the 200 freestyle with a lifetime-best time of 1:58.45 in a 15-swimmer field. She added a victory in the 100 backstroke, touching in a season-best 1:00.60, which ranks third in the conference. Her performances helped lead the Wheaton women to a first-place finish at their Senior Day meet with 472 points.
 
Diving: Isabelle Fitzpatrick, Wheaton
Fitzpatrick earned diving honors following her performance on the 1-meter board at the Thunder Invitational. Competing on Senior Day, Fitzpatrick completed 11 dives and recorded a personal-best score of 253.80, a season-high mark that currently ranks fourth in the conference.
 
Fitzpatrick was one of three Wheaton divers competing at the invitational. Her performance contributed to Wheaton’s team victory over Augustana and North Central.
