Illinois Wesleyan Returns to D3hoops.com Top 25 at No. 18

NAPERVILLE --- Illinois Wesleyan has moved back into the national rankings, checking in at No. 18 in the latest D3hoops.com Top 25 poll released Monday. The Titans earned 166 points after improving to 10-3 overall.

Illinois Wesleyan enters the rankings amid a four-game winning streak that began Dec. 18 with a 78-76 victory at then-No. 4 WashU. The Titans followed with a pair of non-conference wins in New York City, edging Yeshiva, 72-71, on Dec. 29 before defeating Hamilton, 69-57, last Wednesday

The Titans returned home on Saturday with a 72-68 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) win over Carroll, improving to 2-2 in league play. Illinois Wesleyan continues conference action Wednesday, hosting Augustana at 7 p.m. inside the Shirk Center.

North Park, also 10-3 overall, received six points in Monday's new poll.
