Illinois Wesleyan Men's Basketball Retains Position in National Poll

NAPERVILLE — Illinois Wesleyan remained No. 16 in the Week 10 D3hoops.com Top 25 poll released Monday. 
 
The Titans, 18-4 overall, earned 296 points in the latest rankings after posting two College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) victories, including an 82-71 win over Wheaton last Wednesday and a 91-69 decision against Elmhurst on Saturday
 
Illinois Wesleyan is the lone CCIW program ranked in this week’s Top 25. Carthage is listed among others receiving votes with 33 points, the highest total among teams outside the ranked field.
 
At the top of the poll, Montclair State moved to No. 1 at 22-0 with 11 first-place votes. Randolph-Macon (19-2) is second, followed by St. Thomas (20-1). Trinity (19-2) and Emory (16-3) rounded out the top five.
