KENOSHA, Wis. — Carthage’s Taydin Murphy closed the diving portion of the 2026 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men’s Swimming & Diving Championship with a victory in the men’s 3-meter event on Saturday at the Koenitzer Aquatic Center in Kenosha, Wis.
Murphy totaled 458.75 points to defend his 2025 title on the 3-meter board and complete a sweep of the men’s diving championships after winning Friday’s 1-meter competition. He led the field in both rounds, scoring 160.45 points in the voluntary round and 298.30 in the optional round to finish more than 100 points clear of the rest of the field.
Carthage placed four divers in the top four positions in the final standings. Carson Sehy earned runner-up honors at 351.75 after placing fifth in the event a season ago. Kevin Sarazin followed in third at 330.90, while Devon Kuhn placed fourth with 320.50.
Wheaton’s Mateo Anderson finished fifth with 315.90 to round out the top five. Wheaton’s Samuel Moss (259.00) placed sixth, Josiah Ferguson (257.55) finished seventh, and Augustana’s William Quesnell (256.85) took eighth to complete the scoring positions.
