NAPERVILLE — Carroll senior Natalie Gricius was tabbed College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Women’s Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week on Monday afternoon.
 
Gricius receives the award for the third time during the 2025-26 season after guiding the Pioneers to a 2-0 week with wins over Elmhurst and Augustana
 
In the two victories, Gricius averaged 22.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 3.0 steals per game while going 12-for-13 at the free-throw line (92.3 percent). She posted 27 points and 11 rebounds in a 63-50 road win at Elmhurst on Wednesday, including seven offensive rebounds, and in the same game became the third player in program history to reach 1,500 career points and 500 career rebounds. Gricius followed with 18 points in a 75-55 win over Augustana on Saturday as Carroll secured its 10th consecutive home victory.
 
Gricius leads the CCIW in scoring at 21.6 points per game. She has produced 14 games of 20 or more points with two 30-point performances and ranks third in the conference in field goal percentage at .581 (183-for-315). Gricius also ranks second among active CCIW players with 1,536 career points, seventh in rebounding (6.6 rpg) and fourth in free-throw percentage (.760).
 
Carroll is 18-4 overall and 12-1 in conference play and returns to action Wednesday at North Park.
