NAPERVILLE — The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) opened its 2026 women’s outdoor track and field weekly awards schedule on Wednesday, recognizing Elmhurst’s Sarah Hahn, Illinois Wesleyan’s Imani Ogunribido and North Central’s Gwen Berenyi for their performances during the opening weekend of competition.
Track: Sarah Hahn, Elmhurst
Hahn was named the conference’s Track Student-Athlete of the Week after opening her season at the WashU Distance Carnival last Friday. A sophomore from Geneva, Ill., Hahn placed 15th in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:34.64. The performance currently ranks first in the CCIW and 12th nationally in NCAA Division III.
Co-Field: Imani Ogunribido, Illinois Wesleyan
Ogunribido earned co-Field Student-Athlete of the Week honors following her showing at the Joyce Morton-Kief Invite hosted by Illinois State. Competing out of Hanover Park, Ill., Ogunribido won the triple jump with a season-best mark of 12.43 meters (40' 9.5") on her opening attempt of the competition. That mark leads both the conference and NCAA Division III.
Co-Field: Gwen Berenyi, North Central
Co-Field Student-Athlete of the Week recognition also went to Berenyi after her performance at the North Central First Chance Invitational. The senior from Oswego, Ill. won the pole vault with a clearance of 3.97 meters (13' 0.25"). Her season-opening mark stands first in the CCIW and is tied for the top mark in Division III.
